Following a landslide incident that occurred in the Luagan Kelumpang Muslim Cemetery in Kampung Sinaut, Tutong District on the 9th of January 2026 due to continuous heavy rain, the public is temporarily prohibited from entering the cemetery area due to the unsafe conditions which could endanger public safety.

This refers to the decision of the Technical Committee Meeting for Coordination of Follow-up Actions for Landslides at Luagan Kelumpang Muslim Cemetery, Kampung Sinaut. The prohibition is enforced as a preliminary preventive measure to avoid any risk of accidents, injuries or unwanted incidents, while safety assessment work and further action are being carried out by the relevant authorities.
